What we do
CompeteWork is not a staffing firm and not a 40-person consultancy. It is one practitioner — Bryce Olsen — brought in when the work needs product judgment, systems fluency, and an operating cadence that teams will actually follow.
Short, focused engagements to pressure-test a platform bet, a build-vs-buy choice, a CRM or workflow redesign, or a growth tradeoff before you lock in budget and headcount.
Temporary product, technology, or revenue-operations leadership when you need an experienced operator in the seat — without a full-time hire before the shape of the role is clear.
Hands-on work to stand up operating rhythm, align product and GTM systems, and connect day-to-day behavior in tools you already own to the metrics leadership actually cares about.
Salesforce and adjacent stacks, process design, and the unglamorous work of making tools, data, and teams point in the same direction.
Approach
The practice started with a simple idea from industrial-organizational psychology: performance improves when you identify the specific behaviors tied to sales, service, and support outcomes — then design the work so people can execute them in the systems they already use.
That still sits underneath the advisory work. Strategy that never reaches the CRM, the ticket queue, or the weekly operating review is decoration. CompeteWork is built to close that gap.
Who we serve
The format fits organizations of different sizes. The sharpest experience is with regulated and high-trust software businesses where product, operations, and revenue systems have to hold up under scrutiny.
Precision health, behavioral health, utilization and care platforms — where HIPAA, workflow, and clinical-operational translation matter as much as the roadmap.
Benefits, wealth, and adjacent platforms where compliance, data integrity, and revenue operations have to move together.
Large-scale learning platforms and the operating model behind them — product, enrollment, and delivery as one system.
Founders and leadership teams who need a senior counterpart on platform strategy, systems modernization, and the tradeoffs that come with growth.
Principal
Bryce is a product and technology executive with more than twenty years leading digital platforms, revenue operations, and enterprise systems in healthtech, fintech, and edtech SaaS.

He holds dual master’s degrees in psychology and industrial-organizational psychology, a PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Salesforce Administrator credentials. The I-O background is how CompeteWork started. The operating résumé is what clients hire now.
